Job summary

Mission Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Social Worker (MSW) PRN to perform biopsychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, and discharge planning across inpatient floors and ED. You will coordinate with RN case managers, physicians, and families to address barriers to discharge and support patient-centered care.

Qualified candidates will have a Masters in Social Work, 1+ year experience or MSW internship, and preferred LCWS certification. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Social Work is required.
• 1+ years in Social Work or MSW internship is required.
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCWS) and Certification in Social Work is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with care teams to identify and address patient needs and discharge planning.
• Perform biopsychosocial assessments and crisis interventions as needed.
• Coordinate meetings with patients, families, and caregivers to support goals of care and discharge planning.
• Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families facing complex or end-of-life situations.
