Job summary

Autumn Lake at Salem County in Salem, NJ seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) PRN to evaluate residents for speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing needs. You will develop individualized treatment plans and provide skilled therapy in a supportive rehabilitation setting.

The role offers a flexible PRN schedule, an interdisciplinary team, and the chance to contribute meaningfully to residents' communication and swallowing function in both short- and long-term care contexts.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents for speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and resident goals
• Provide skilled therapy for communication, cognition, and dysphagia
• Monitor progress and modify treatment approaches as appropriate
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on communication and safe swallowing strategies
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary team
