Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation in Salem, OR seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to extend therapy beyond the clinic in home and community settings. The role focuses on improving communication, cognition and independence within patients’ daily environments.

Qualifications include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, active state license, CPR certification and at least one year of SLP experience. Flexible PRN schedule and team collaboration support patient-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid SLP license in the state(s) of practice
• Current CPR certification as per state regulations
• Minimum of one year of experience as an SLP
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological injury preferred
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Physical requirements to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with transfers as needed

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders
• Regularly reassess treatment effectiveness and participate in staffing meetings and family conferences
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home/community safety recommendations and resources
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patient and family
• Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate care and improve outcomes
