Job summary

Stern Therapy Consultants seeks a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services at Autumn Lake at Southgate in Carneys Point, NJ. You will evaluate and treat adult communication, cognitive-communication and swallowing issues for skilled nursing residents.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, creating goal-driven plans, and collaborating with nursing and rehab teams. NJ license required; geriatric rehab experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey SLP license required.
• Strong clinical skills in adult communication, cognition and swallowing.
• Clear communication and accurate, timely documentation.

$55–$60/hour | PRN

Stern Therapy Consultants is seeking a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist at Autumn Lake at Southgate. Support skilled nursing residents whose communication, cognitive, or swallowing difficulties affect daily life, delivering treatment that reflects their abilities, care needs, and personal goals.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing function to determine appropriate services.
• Create individualized treatment plans with measurable goals for meaningful daily participation.
• Provide therapy addressing communication needs, attention, memory, and functional problem-solving.
• Manage dysphagia treatment and coordinate swallowing recommendations with nursing and dietary staff.
• Train residents and caregivers in strategies they can use during conversations, meals, and everyday routines.
• Document clinical findings and progress, revise care plans, and contribute to interdisciplinary care and discharge planning.
