Job summary

Autumn Lake at Chesapeake Woods in Cambridge, MD is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a PRN opportunity. You will evaluate speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing needs, and develop individualized treatment plans to help residents meet their goals within a collaborative rehabilitation setting.

The role offers an hourly rate of $55–$60 with flexible PRN scheduling, a supportive team, and opportunities to work with short-term and long-term residents.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on resident goals.
• Provide skilled therapy addressing communication, cognition, and dysphagia.
• Monitor progress and modify treatment approaches as appropriate.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on supportive strategies.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation, nursing, and interdisciplinary staff.
