PACS Group in San Antonio, TX is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during your tour of duty. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards and collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain the highest quality of care.

Formación

• Must supervise day-to-day nursing activities in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
• Experience in long-term care facility nursing supervision and staff coordination.
• Ability to develop and maintain nursing service procedures and discharge planning.
• Familiarity with quality assurance processes and committee activities in a nursing setting.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during the tour of duty.
• Assist in directing day-to-day functions of the nursing services department.
• Participate in developing and updating policies and procedures for the nursing service.
• Ensure staff compliance with Nursing Service procedures and policies.
• Report to Director of Nursing on operation of the nursing service department.
• Contribute to discharge planning and coordination with care plans.
• Attend and participate in nursing service meetings and committees.
• Oversee staffing, performance evaluations, and staff development.
• Ensure patient safety and proper medication administration practices.
