Job summary

PACS Group, a Texas long-term care facility, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise day-to-day nursing activities during your tour of duty. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards and coordinate with the DON/ADON as applicable.

Responsibilities include directing nursing staff, developing policies, maintaining up-to-date procedures, and ensuring quality patient care through proper documentation, discharge planning, and coordination with other departments.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, active RN license in Texas.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Experience in rehabilitative or long-term care settings preferred (PCC knowledge preferred).

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities to ensure quality care.
• Coordinate with the Director of Nursing and other staff.
• Participate in policy development and quality assurance.
• Oversee admissions, discharges, and resident transfers.
• Ensure medication administration accuracy and safety.
• Maintain proper documentation and reports.
