Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Minute Clinic Virtual Care Nurse Practitioner (Provider) to deliver holistic, evidence-based care remotely for patients 18 months and older. This PRN role requires 9+ hours weekly, with weekend coverage, and licensure in listed states, plus potential for additional licensure.

You will collaborate with a dedicated care team, document in the EHR, and guide patients with preventive care, contraception and wellness education while working in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Must be currently licensed in one of the specified states (CT, GA, NC, ND, NJ, NY, PA, SC, SD, VA, WI, WV).
• Minimum of two years of medically-relevant experience or equivalent.
• Strong verbal, written and electronic communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision.
• Proficient with information management and technology.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues to provide quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, evidence-based care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment and disposition planning for patients aged 18 months and older.
• Evaluate primary, acute and chronic care patients and provide health education and counseling.
• Counsel patients on pregnancy prevention, STI prevention and safer sex practices.
• Document all patient care in an EHR per MinuteClinic policies.
• Coordinate care with internal and external colleagues to ensure high-quality care.
• Work with a patient care team including providers, physicians, paraprofessionals and pharmacists.
