Elior North America is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian to join the healthcare team at Cortland Manor, NY. You will assess nutritional needs, develop care plans, and support residents’ wellbeing in a hospital/long-term care setting. This role is onsite with flexible 8–16 hours per month, with potential for additional coverage.

You’ll collaborate with dietitians and care staff to ensure regulatory compliance and high quality nutrition services while providing education to patients and staff.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Dietitian.
• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (before 2024) or related field.
• Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed the CDR national examination or eligible per Academy requirements.
• Completes 75 hours CE every five years per CDR.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsabilités

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents.
• Follow Academy standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies for dining and nutrition.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement programs.
