Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian to join the healthcare and food service team at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. You will identify and assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and support patient quality of life in line with goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (or related field).
• Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination by the CDR or eligible per the Academy.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years with portfolio development.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients and staff.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and facility requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to implement dining service and nutrition procedures.
• Participate in development and review of quality improvement programs.

Education

Bachelor's degree in nutrition

Master's degree in Nutrition

CDR exam or eligibility

75 hours CE every five years

Licensed or certified

Regulation standards knowledge
