Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian for the Cortland Manor, NY location. The role involves assessing nutritional needs, planning interventions, and supporting patient care on an as-needed basis, typically 8–16 hours per month with potential for additional weekday/weekend coverage.

You will work onsite at Hudson Valley Hospital Center and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality nutrition services in a patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition (pre-2024) or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed the national examination by the CDR or eligibility per the AND.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and facility requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures related to dining and nutrition.
• Participate in quality improvement programs and reviews.
