Job summary

Elior North America is hiring a PRN Registered Dietitian in Cortland Manor, NY, onsite at Hudson Valley Hospital Center. The role involves assessing nutritional needs, initiating interventions, and improving quality of life for patients/residents.

The schedule is typically 8–16 hours per month, with potential for additional weekday, weekend, or vacation coverage. Responsibilities include providing nutrition expertise to the healthcare team, educating patients and staff, adhering to practice

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Dietitian.
• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (before 2024) or related field.
• Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements and CDR eligibility, with CE hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interacting with other departments in setting up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participating in the development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
