Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian for its healthcare team at Cortland Manor, NY. The role involves assessing nutritional needs, initiating interventions, and improving patients' quality of life, with a schedule typically 8–16 hours per month and potential additional coverage.

Qualified candidates will have 1+ year RD experience, a nutrition degree, and appropriate licensure/certification. Compensation ranges $62–$68 per hour, onsite at Hudson Valley Hospital Center.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Registered Dietitian
• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or related field
• Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field
• Passed the CDR national examination or eligible for it
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years per CDR requirements
• Licensed or certified per state requirements
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients, staff, or consultants.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures for dining service and nutrition.
• Participate in development and evaluation of continuous quality improvement programs.
