Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian to join the healthcare and food service team at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. The RD will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and support quality of life aligned with patient goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) is required.
Master's degree in Nutrition is required.
Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics eligibility requirements.
Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
Licensed or certified per state requirements.

Responsibilities

Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
Contribute to development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
