Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires formal Radiology Technology training and ARRT registered or eligible.
• Prior patient care experience preferred.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment and positions patient accordingly.
• Maintains departmental records.
