Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist. The role requires ARRT-recognized training, registry eligibility within one year, and BLS certification.

You will coordinate daily activities, document patient history, prepare contrast media, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety. This position is PRN/as needed with pay range listed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Certification/License: registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date; BLS required.
• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development appropriate to patient population served.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to the procedure on requisition by physician.
• Confirms patient identity verbally and via proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment per procedure demands and demonstrates proper positioning.
• Maintains records per departmental standards.
