Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations under the direction of a Radiologist. You will coordinate daily workflow, verify patient identity, prepare contrast media when required, and maintain accurate records of procedures.

Responsibilities include selecting and operating imaging equipment, ensuring proper positioning, and collaborating with radiologists and hospital staff to provide high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date.
• CPR certification required.
• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development appropriate to patient populations.

Responsabilités

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedures on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment and ensures proper anatomic positioning during procedures.
• Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.
