Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA Approved Radiology Technology Program.
• ARRT registration required or eligible and must be registered within 1 year of hire.
• 1 year of direct patient care experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Operates equipment and positions patients according to procedure.
• Maintains appropriate records as required by department standards.
