Advocate Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic examinations with minimal supervision under the Radiologist, coordinating daily workflow in a high-demand setting. This PRN/AS NEEDED role requires ARRT-recognized education and registry eligibility with completion within one year, plus BLS certification.

The incumbent will document patient histories, verify identity, prepare contrast media, and collaborate with radiologists.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date. BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures with minimal supervision under the Radiologist.
• Coordinates daily activities including examinations and related clerical tasks.
• Documents patient history on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification and verifies identity prior to procedures.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Operates and positions equipment according to procedure needs and maintains records.
