Job summary

Akumin is seeking an X-Ray Technologist at our Tampa, FL facilities for a PRN Float role focused on diagnostic imaging and patient care. You will be responsible for performing radiographic exams with safety and accuracy.

Requirements include ARRT certification, state license where applicable, CPR/BLS, ACLS if needed, and flexibility to work at multiple sites. Join a national outpatient imaging leader dedicated to high-quality care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred.
• ARRT (R) license required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS from AHA or ARC.
• ACLS where applicable.
• Valid state driver’s license; travel to multiple locations may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer ionizing radiation to obtain diagnostic exams as ordered by the physician.
• Demonstrate competency with different X-ray equipment.
• Communicate effectively with patients and radiologists.
• Maintain quality and patient care through teamwork and process improvements.
• Train and orient new technologists and patient coordinators.
