Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare - West is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house team on a PRN basis. You will administer prescribed therapies, assist with mobility and function, and support the PT in delivering high-quality resident care.

The ideal candidate holds an active Texas PTA license, has strong communication and teamwork skills, and experience in SNF or long-term care settings.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license in good standing.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of PT treatment practices and documentation standards.
• Ability to adapt plans with PT supervision and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and improve function.
• Provide skilled PT services under therapist supervision and orders.
• Relay service requests to the Physical Therapist and document care.
• Modify plans of care under PT supervision and assess progress.
• Measure motor function and track patient responses to interventions.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers and ensure timely documentation.
