Job summary
Creative Solutions in Healthcare - West is seeking a compassionate Full-Time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehab team. You will deliver person-centered care to improve residents' mobility, strength, and quality of life under PT supervision.
Ideal candidates hold a Texas PTA license, have SNF experience or strong rehab knowledge, and are familiar with Net Health documentation. We welcome new grads and offer competitive benefits and flexible scheduling.
Qualifications
- Active and valid Texas Physical Therapy Assistant license.
- In good standing with regulatory agencies.
- SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
- Knowledge of physical therapy treatments and practices.
- Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.
- Ability to manage patients with varying needs and personalities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and improve function.
- Provide skilled PT services under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
- Relay information and referrals to the PT as needed.
- Implement and modify treatment plans under PT supervision.
- Measure and record motor function, strength, and performance.
- Monitor patient response and adjust approaches with the team.
