Job summary

Johns Island Post Acute is a 132-bed skilled nursing and rehab facility on Johns Island, SC. We are growing our Therapy Department with a PTA and offer a PRN/part-time opportunity in a supportive team environment.

The PTA will assist the Physical Therapist, support residents to achieve independence, document progress, and collaborate with the care team. A SC PTA license and an associate degree are required to join our compassionate staff.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state (SC).
• Proficient with clinical documentation in health IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapist with patient care and mobility activities.
• Help residents improve mobility, strength, and overall function.
• Document treatments and track resident progress accurately.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care.
• Maintain infection control and safety in treatment areas.
