Johns Island Post Acute in Johns Island, SC is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to assist the Physical Therapist in resident care, mobility, and rehabilitation. You will document treatments and progress, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and help residents achieve independence.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Proficient in Net Health and Point Click Care.
• South Carolina PTA license required.
• Experience in fast-paced healthcare setting preferred.

Responsabilités

• Treat residents as directed by Physical Therapist.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation of treatments and progress.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment following protocols.
• Participate in Resident Care conferences and rehab meetings.
• Communicate progress to physicians, nursing staff and family.
• Educate residents and families on goals and home exercise programs.
