Job summary

Johns Island Post Acute is a gorgeous 132-bed skilled nursing and rehab facility in Johns Island, SC. We are hiring a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant to help residents achieve their highest level of independence and to support a dedicated therapy team.

The PTA will assist the Physical Therapist, document progress, and collaborate with nursing and rehab staff to provide exceptional care. A SC PTA license and an accredited PTA degree are required.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program.
• SC PTA license required.
• Experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist with resident care.
• Help residents improve mobility, strength, and function.
• Document treatments and progress accurately.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
