Job summary

Grace Pointe Wellness Center in El Paso, TX, is seeking a compassionate PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehab team. You will administer prescribed treatments and support residents’ mobility and quality of life under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

The ideal candidate holds a valid Texas PTA license, has familiarity with long-term care settings, and is comfortable documenting in Net Health EDS. Flexible schedules and competitive compensation are offered.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas PTA license.
• In good standing with regulatory agencies.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Current knowledge of physical therapy treatment practices.
• Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, improve or restore function, and promote healing.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services and interventions under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Physical Therapist.
• Implement and modify patients’ plans of care under PT supervision.
• Measure and record patients’ motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and adjust approaches with the team.
• Provide clinical support and education to patients, family members, and caregivers.
• Ensure documentation is completed thoroughly and timely per policies and regulations.
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.
