St Giles Nursing in El Paso, TX is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehab team on a PRN basis. You will support residents' mobility and daily living activities under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

The ideal candidate holds a Texas PTA license in good standing, with SNF or long-term care experience preferred, and familiarity with Net Health documentation. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualificações

• Texas PTA license in good standing with regulatory boards.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of physical therapy treatment practices.
• Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Administer prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and improve function.
• Provide therapy services under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Relay service requests and referrals to the Physical Therapist.
• Modify care plans under PT supervision as needed.
• Measure and record motor function, strength, and performance.
• Monitor patient response and adjust approaches with the team.
• Provide education to patients, family, and caregivers.
• Ensure timely and compliant documentation.
• Attend meetings designated by the Director of Rehab.
