Job summary

Greenhill-Villas-of-Mount-Pleasant is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehab team on a PRN basis. You will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to provide skilled treatments and help residents improve mobility and quality of life.

You must hold an active Texas PTA license and be in good standing with regulatory boards. Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care is preferred, and familiarity with Net Health EHR is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas Physical Therapy Assistant license.
• In good standing with regulatory agencies.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of PT treatment practices.
• Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System.

Responsibilities

• Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and improve function.
• Provide skilled PT services under PT supervision and physician orders.
• Relay information and referrals to the Physical Therapist.
• Modify plans of care under PT supervision.
• Measure and record motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
• Monitor patient response and adjust interventions with the team.
• Provide education to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Ensure timely, compliant documentation per policies and regulations.
• Attend required Rehab Director meetings.
