Job summary

Elite Home Health, part of the UnitedHealth Group family, is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to support home health patients under a supervising Physical Therapist. You will implement treatment plans, provide exercise instruction, and educate patients to improve well-being in home settings.

Responsibilities include following state laws, coordinating with the care team, and adapting to diverse patient needs while maintaining quality care in a home environment.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Valid driver's license and transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and plan of care as defined by the supervising PT.
• Instruct patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, and mobility.
• Observe and report patient responses to the PT, coordinating with the care team.
• Educate patient, family, and caregivers on therapy strategies within PTA scope.
• Provide care in home settings regardless of patient demographics.
