Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Phlebotomy course completion or prior phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy Certification preferred.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy on patients and collect specimens.
• Label specimens accurately with patient identifiers.
• Release orders or register patients using HIS/LIS.
• Assist with billing, data entry of demographic and insurance information.
• Follow safety and infection control protocols.
• Prepare specimens for transport and coordinate with the lab.
