Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Maplewood team. This casual/PRN role involves blood collection, data entry, and delivering excellent patient service in a regionally focused environment.

Based in Maplewood, NJ area with potential coverage at other sites. Requires HS diploma and phlebotomy experience; certification preferred. Pay range is $17.75–$24.00/hour with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
