Job summary

Labcorp is hiring a Phlebotomist in Maplewood, NJ. This casual/PRN position involves performing blood collections for all ages, documenting data accurately, and supporting patient services across multiple sites in the region.

You will travel as needed and contribute to a service-oriented environment. The role requires a high school diploma or GED with phlebotomy experience; preferred candidates have 1+ year of phlebotomy.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: High school diploma or GED or equivalent with 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
