Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a flexible PRN Patient Access Representative to support all three Miami County Clinic locations in Louisburg, KS.

You will greet patients, verify information, schedule appointments, collect co-pays, enter data in the EMR, and coordinate with nursing and billing staff to ensure smooth patient flow.

This PRN role may include weekend coverage and holiday support, with opportunities to work across multiple clinics.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate
• Previous Related Experience
• Preferred Education and Experience includes Previous Healthcare Experience

Responsibilities

• Greets customers in prompt, courteous manner and manages front desk tasks.
• Verifies patient information, collects co-pays, and updates patient records.
• Schedules and cancels appointments; conducts appointment reminder calls; routes calls as needed.
• Maintains EMR data entry for patient information and coordinates with healthcare staff.
• Ensures clean and organized front desk and waiting area.
