Job summary

Banyan Treatment Centers in Cathedral City, CA seeks a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to provide essential peer and operational support to patients on a PRN basis. You will spend significant time with patients, ensure safety, and collaborate with medical staff in a treatment setting.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the role is on-site, 12-hour shifts, with compensation at $21/hr. This position supports a nationwide addiction and mental health care network with comprehensive team

Qualifications

• Must have a safe driving record with a DMV report for the last 3 years.
• Must be at least 23 years of age to meet insurance requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent or higher.

Responsibilities

• Patient supervision and safety: monitor patients and facility, conduct safety checks, and communicate with medical staff.
• Waive testing: measure and report vital signs, conduct UDS and pregnancy tests as per policy.
• Patient interaction and support: provide empathetic, professional patient contact and refer concerns to therapy staff.
