Job summary

Banyan Treatment Centers is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to support patients during recovery at our Cathedral City campus. You will supervise, conduct safety checks, and assist with care coordination to foster trust and safety.

As a key member of a national addiction and mental health care provider, you will work 12-hour shifts on-site with a strong emphasis on teamwork and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Valid driver license and clean DMV record in the last 3 years.
• Must be at least 23 years old to comply with motor vehicle insurance requirements.
• High school diploma/equivalent or higher.

Responsibilities

• Patient Supervision and Safety: Monitor patients and facility grounds, conduct safety checks and document incidents.
• Waive Testing: Measure vital signs and conduct UDS and pregnancy tests per policy.
• Patient Interaction and Support: Provide emotional support and refer concerns to therapy staff.
• Communication and Team Collaboration: Share patient information with leaders and collaborate for high-quality care.
• Daily Program and Facility Management: Assist in transport, group coordination, and discharge prep.
