Job summary

Banyan Treatment Centers is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to provide essential peer and operational support during recovery. You will supervise patients, assist with safety checks, and coordinate with the care team to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Safe driving record with a clean DMV report for the last 3 years.
• Must be at least 23 years old to comply with motor vehicle insurance requirements.
• High school diploma/equivalent or higher.

Responsibilities

• Patient supervision and safety: monitor patients and facility grounds, conduct safety checks, document incidents.
• Waive testing: measure vital signs, conduct UDS and pregnancy tests, comply with policies.
• Patient interaction and support: provide empathetic care, refer concerns to therapy staff.
• Communication and teamwork: share relevant patient information with Team Leader and supervisors, collaborate for quality care.
• Daily program and facility management: assist in patient transport, group coordination, and discharge preparations.
