Job summary

Sage Event Management Inc. is seeking a Per Diem Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to provide patient-centered care within our in-house rehab team in Texas. This PRN position supports residents with temporary or long-term needs under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

The OTA will administer treatments, document care, and collaborate with staff to promote independence and quality of life. Texas license and COTA credential are required, with SNF or long-term care experience

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas OT license.
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required.
• SNF or long‑term care experience preferred.
• Current knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practices.
• Experience with Net Health documentation system preferred.
• Ability to manage patients with varying personalities and needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents to relieve pain, restore or improve function.
• Provide skilled OT services under supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Respond to service requests by relaying information to the OT.
• Ensure treatments follow the established plan of care.
• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and report changes.
• Complete required documentation thoroughly and timely.
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.
