Job summary

Hireology is seeking a compassionate Per Diem Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house rehab team. You will deliver person-centered OT services on a PRN basis, assisting residents to improve independence and quality of life under OT supervision.

The ideal candidate holds a Texas OTA license with a COTA credential, has strong communication and teamwork, and may have SNF or long-term care exposure. Net Health EDS familiarity is a plus, and flexible schedules are available.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas OTA license in good standing.
• COTA credential required.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Current knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practices.
• Experience with Net Health EDS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents to relieve pain and improve function.
• Provide skilled OT services under supervision of an OT per physician orders.
• Respond to service requests by relaying information to the OT.
• Ensure all treatments follow the established plan of care.
• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor patient response and report changes as appropriate.
• Complete required documentation thoroughly and timely per policy and regulations.
• Attend required meetings designated by the Director of Rehab.
