St Giles Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in El Paso, TX is looking for a compassionate Per Diem Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house rehab team. You will provide person-centered OT services under the supervision of an OT, helping residents regain independence and improve quality of life.

The role offers flexible PRN scheduling, competitive compensation, and opportunities to work with a skilled team in a SNF/long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Active Texas OTA license in good standing.
• COTA credential is required.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of occupational therapy treatments.
• Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.
• Ability to manage patients with varying personalities and needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients to relieve pain, restore or improve function.
• Provide skilled OT services and interventions under supervision of an OT.
• Respond to service requests by relaying information to the OT.
• Ensure all treatments follow the care plan.
• Provide clinical support to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor patient response and report changes as appropriate.
• Complete required documentation thoroughly and timely per policy and regulations.
• Attend required meetings designated by the Director of Rehab.
