Job summary

Oasis Nursing & Rehab in Texas is seeking a compassionate Per Diem Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house rehab team. You will provide person-centered care to help residents improve independence and quality of life.

Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, you will deliver OT treatments, document thoroughly, communicate with families, and participate in care planning. A valid Texas OTA license and COTA credential are required; SNF experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Texas OTA license.
• COTA credential required.
• SNF/long-term care experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Net Health EDS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents to relieve pain and improve function.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Respond to requests for service by relaying information to the Occupational Therapist.
• Ensure all treatments follow the established plan of care.
• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and report changes as appropriate.
• Complete required documentation thoroughly and timely per policy and regulations.
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.
