Job summary

Saber-Healthcare-Group is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to support residents in a skilled nursing facility. You will help patients regain function, provide education for ongoing exercises, and work under the supervision of the OT and Director of Rehab.

The position requires an OTA license and an Associate's Degree, with opportunities for education and growth. Shifts are days on a PRN basis, with competitive wages and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree from an accredited college.
• Current and valid OTA license issued by the state.
• Active license in the state of employment.
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate service delivery and EHR software.

Responsibilities

• Return patient to optimal physical function in a SNF setting under OT/DOR supervision.
• Instruct patients on maintaining function and safe activities post-discharge.
• Utilize EHR and other software to document progress and coordinate care.

Position Summary:

The primary function of your job return patient to optimal physical function and facilitate the achievement of patient, physician, and therapy goals within a SNF setting. Instruct the patient in maintaining achieved level of function after discharge through education, independent exercise program, and appropriate activity modification, under the supervision of the OT and DOR.

Education/Qualifications:

• Employee must hold an Associate's Degree from an accredited college.
• Must hold a current and valid license granted from the state of employment.
• Current and valid OTA license granted from state of employment.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including service delivery software and the electronic health record software.
