Job summary

Stratford-Rehabilitation-Center in Danville, VA, is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to help restore patients to optimal function in a skilled nursing facility. You will guide patients toward therapy goals and educate them on maintaining gains after discharge.

The role requires an Associate’s Degree, valid state licensure, and OTA license, with duties including using EHR software and contributing to care plans. Full-time, day shifts, pay range $28–$35 per hour.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited college.
• Must hold a current and valid license granted from the state of employment.
• Current and valid OTA license granted from state of employment.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including service delivery software and the electronic health record software.

• Restore patient to optimal physical function and facilitate achievement of goals in a SNF setting.
• Instruct patients to maintain function after discharge via education and independent exercise, under supervision of OT and DOR.

Position Summary:

The primary function of your job return patient to optimal physical function and facilitate the achievement of patient, physician, and therapy goals within a SNF setting. Instruct the patient in maintaining achieved level of function after discharge through education, independent exercise program, and appropriate activity modification, under the supervision of the OT and DOR.

Education/Qualifications:

• Employee must hold an Associate’s Degree from an accredited college.

• Must hold a current and valid license granted from the state of employment.

• Current and valid OTA license granted from state of employment.

• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including service delivery software and the electronic health record software.

Shift & Wage:

• Full-Time Opportunity Available

• Shifts Needed: Monday - Friday, Days

• Wage: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
