Job summary

Davie Nursing & Rehab Center is seeking a part-time OT Aide to help residents in a skilled nursing facility regain function and achieve therapy goals. You will educate patients and support discharge planning under the supervision of the OT and Director of Rehabilitation.

The role requires an Associate’s Degree, an active OTA license, and basic computer and EHR skills. Flexible scheduling and a supportive team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited college.
• Current and valid license granted from the state of employment.
• OTA license required from state of employment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health record software.

Responsibilities

• Restore patient to optimal physical function within a SNF setting.
• Instruct patients to maintain function after discharge via education and independent exercise.

Position Summary:

The primary function of your job return patient to optimal physical function and facilitate the achievement of patient, physician, and therapy goals within a SNF setting. Instruct the patient in maintaining achieved level of function after discharge through education, independent exercise program, and appropriate activity modification, under the supervision of the OT and DOR.

Education/Qualifications:

• Employee must hold an Associate’s Degree from an accredited college.
• Must hold a current and valid license granted from the state of employment.
• Current and valid OTA license granted from state of employment.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including service delivery software and the electronic health record software.
