Job summary

Sun City Post Acute seeks a Staff Occupational Therapist to evaluate residents, design and implement therapy plans, and supervise OTAs. You will collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, families, and an interdisciplinary team to optimize recovery and discharge planning. Proficiency with Net Health and PointClickCare is expected.

The role requires state OT licensure, strong documentation habits, and commitment to infection control and safety protocols. A Masters/Doctorate is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state.
• Ability to develop and update individualized treatment plans.
• Proficiency with health record documentation and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine OT needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop and implement treatment plans to improve mobility and independence.
• Supervise OT Assistants and student staff.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and care team on progress and discharge planning.
• Maintain compliant, timely documentation and infection control practices.
