Job summary

Pasadena Post Acute is seeking a Staff Occupational Therapist to evaluate residents, design individualized treatment plans, and supervise OT staff. You will collaborate with physicians and families to support mobility, safety, and independence in daily activities.

The role requires a state OT license, CPR if required, and competence with Net Health and Point Click Care. You will contribute to quality care, staff training, and compliant documentation in a supportive facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy; state licensure required.
• Masters or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Proficient in computer skills for Net Health and Point Click Care.
• License in good standing; CPR certification if required by licensure.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine OT needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and independence.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants in resident care and related activities.
• Communicate progress with physicians, nursing staff, residents, and families.
• Complete timely documentation in accordance with facility and payers.
• Provide in-services and training for facility staff as needed.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and follow infection control protocols.
• Educate residents and families on goals, home programs, and safety techniques.
• Assist with ordering durable medical equipment to support ADLs.
