Job summary

Sun City SNF Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Staff Occupational Therapist to evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and supervise OT assistants. You will collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and families to coordinate progress and discharge planning.

The role includes ensuring accurate documentation, maintaining infection control, and providing resident and family education on home exercise programs and fall prevention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required; Master's/Doctorate preferred.
• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state; continue education as required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine OT needs, rehabilitation potential.
• Develop and implement treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, and independence.
• Supervise OT Assistants in resident care per state practice act.
• Communicate with physicians, nursing staff, and families on progress and discharge planning.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation per facility and payer requirements.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and educate residents/caregivers on home exercise and safety.
