Job summary

Continuum Rehab Group is seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapist in New Mexico to join our in-house therapy team. The position offers $65 per hour and consistent hours across our therapy facilities in the region.

We value clinicians who use evidence-based practice to drive patient care and who can supervise OT assistants and students. NBCOT as OTR may be required where state law dictates. All experience levels are welcome.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Bachelor's/Master's in Occupational Therapy (B.S., M.A. or M.S.) recognized by the AOTA.
• NBCOT designation as OTR (if state mandates).
• Open to therapists at all experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders.
• Provides skilled therapy services to patients who need rehabilitation services.
• Provides consultation and counseling to patients and families, caregivers and other providers.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel per licensure requirements and professional standards.

Experience/Qualifications:

Licensed Occupational Therapist.

Graduate of an accredited university with a B.S., MA, or M.S. in Occupational Therapy that is recognized by the AOTA.

Recognized by the NBCOT as a designated OTR (if state mandated).

This position is open to therapists at all experience levels.

Some duties for this position include:

• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Provides skilled therapy services to patients who need rehabilitation services.
• Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to physical disorders.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards.
