Job summary

Continuum Rehab Group seeks an Occupational Therapist to join our in-house therapy team serving Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care facilities in Albuquerque, NM. The successful candidate will provide evidence-based occupational therapy and collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team.

Licensed OT with an AOTA-recognized degree and NBCOT-OTR designation (as required by state) is preferred; position welcomes therapists at all experience levels and includes a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in good standing.
• Graduate from an AOTA-recognized program in Occupational Therapy.
• NBCOT-OTR designation (if state mandates).
• Open to therapists at all experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Utilize evidence-based practice to guide clinical interventions.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment to patients with physical disorders.
• Provide therapy services to patients requiring rehabilitation.
• Counsel patients and families, collaborating with caregivers and other providers.
• Supervise OTAs and students according to licensure requirements.

Experience/Qualifications:

Licensed Occupational Therapist.

Graduate of an accredited university with a B.S., MA, or M.S. in Occupational Therapy that is recognized by the AOTA.

Recognized by the NBCOT as a designated OTR (if state mandated)

This position is open to therapists at all experience levels.

Some duties for this position include:

• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Provides skilled therapy services to patients who need rehabilitation services.
• Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to physical disorders.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards
