Job summary

Continuum Rehab Group in New Mexico seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join a clinically driven team providing skilled therapy in a SNF setting across multiple states including New Mexico. The role emphasizes evidence-based interventions and comprehensive patient care.

You will supervise therapy staff and coordinate with families and care teams to develop effective rehab plans, ensuring medically necessary treatments and adherence to regulatory standards. AA/EEO/M/F/D/V.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Degree in Occupational Therapy recognized by the AOTA.
• NBCOT OTR designation (if state mandates).

Responsibilities

• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment to patients.
• Provides skilled therapy services to patients needing rehabilitation.
• Consults with patients, families, and other providers regarding physical disorders.
• Supervises Occupational Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel per licensure requirements.

Experience/Qualifications:

Licensed Occupational Therapist.

Graduate of an accredited university with a B.S., MA, or M.S. in Occupational Therapy that is recognized by the AOTA.

Recognized by the NBCOT as a designated OTR (if state mandated)

This position is open to therapists at all experience levels.

Some duties for this position include:

• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.

• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.

• Provides skilled therapy services to patients who need rehabilitation services.

• Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to physical disorders.

• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards
