Job summary

Continuum Rehab Group in New Mexico is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our in-house therapy team at Skilled Nursing facilities. The role offers $65 hourly pay with consistent hours across multiple states including Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Indiana and Missouri.

Applicants should be a graduate with an OT degree, recognized by AOTA and NBCOT-designated OTR where mandated. Open to therapists at various experience levels, with opportunities to supervise assistants and students.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Graduate of an accredited university with a B.S., MA, or M.S. in Occupational Therapy recognized by the AOTA.
• NBCOT designation as an OTR where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Provides rehabilitative and medically necessary treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders.
• Provides skilled therapy services to patients needing rehab services.
• Offers consultation and counseling to patients and families about physical disorders.
• Supervises Occupational Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students and support personnel in compliance with licensure.

Experience/Qualifications

Licensed Occupational Therapist.

Graduate of an accredited university with a B.S., MA, or M.S. in Occupational Therapy that is recognized by the AOTA.

Recognized by the NBCOT as a designated OTR (if state mandated).

This position is open to therapists at all experience levels.

Some Duties For This Position Include

• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.


• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.


• Provides skilled therapy services to patients who need rehabilitation services.


• Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to physical disorders.


• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards.
